Vuit minuts va durar la ovació del públic de Cannes que va assistir a la premiere de la nova pelÃcula de Kevin Smith, Clerks II. Dotze anys després de la primera part de Clerks, Dante i la resta de la colla tornen a la gran pantalla.

El passat dimarts vaig per fi anar a veure la película “Memòries d’una Geisha”. I sí, el títol d’aquest article és correcte, perquè tot i que la película està força bé, no deixa de ser una adaptació o versió del director. I això ho dic perquè veient la película després de haber llegit el llibre d’Arthur Golden, no es podria dir que és una fidel reproducció.
Hi ha diferents punts de la història que ha estat manipulada o fins i tot, canviada totalment respecte el llibre, cosa que parcialment entenc per tal d’aconseguir que la película tingui sentit quan només es disposa de 145 minuts per a explicar-la. També cal comentar que la pelicula acaba abans que el llibre, deixant un final molt més “hollywoodiense” del real.
Tot i això, he de reconeixer que és una bona adaptació, i que la fotografia m’ha convençut, ja que reflexa de forma bastant fidel la realitat que es vivia a Kyoto (i Japó en general) durant els anys de la Segona Gerra Mundial.
A títol personal, comentar el records destapats, durant la projecció de la película, del meu viatge a Japó d’aquest estiu passat, on vaig reconeixer diferents paratges visitats personalment.
Per fi arriba a Europa la pelÃcula de Rob Marshall basada en la novela d’Arthur Golden “Memòries d’una Geisha”. És un llibre molt i molt recomanable si t’apasiona la cultura japonesa com a mi. M’he llegit el llibre, però espero amb moltes ganes veure com han adaptar la novela i sobretot, la fotografia que hi han posat.
La pelicula es va presentar fa aproximadament un mes a Japó, amb els protagonistes de la pelicula al capdavant, com Zhang Ziyi que fa de Sayuri Nitta. Potser la recordareu per pelicules com “Hero” o “La casa de las dagas voladoras” entre altres.

“Melinda and Melinda” is the last movie I’ve seen. It has been just tonight.
The director is Woody Allen. A very particular director… you know… or you like his movies or you just hate them. Some years ago I was in the second group… It was an automatic answer… when I realised that it was a Allen’s movie I didn’t want to see it.
But all changes with “Celebrity” in the 1998 with Kenneth Branagh, Joe Mantegna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Winona Ryder, Melanie Griffith and the unkown (in that time) Charlize Theron, a black and white film that introduces me to Woody Allen’s world.
The last one I saw was “Anything Else” (2003), with Jason Biggs (American Pie), Christina Ricci and a long etc…
If you like Woody Allen, just go directly to the cinema to see it, you will enjoy the film. If not, do it anyway and you will discover all the good films you’ve missed… as I did 6 years ago.
Still with tears on my face I want to write this note. Tears of emotion and memories… Every moment, every situation, every photogram of the film… I can merge any of them with memories in my mind. Memories from my Erasmus time in Växjö (Sweden).
L’Auberge espagnole is a french film dated on 2002. Directed by Cédric Klapisch and Romain Duris as the main character. The film is about “Xavier”, a french guy that goes to Barcelona in Erasmus during one year. From here on… all Erasmus life is shaped in the film.
I know that this film will not be the same for all… It’s obvious that I will get more involved in the story line that others… as all Erasmus students world wide.
My recomendation: If you are an Erasmus Student, you must see this film. And if you can, Original Version.
At last, after months waiting for it, it’s only 4 days for the preview of Kill Bill volume 2 in Spain.
Now, there is only one thing to do… wait until friday.

This is our marks in the Futbito Cup in Cercle Sabadellès. After finishing the regular leage in 8th position of 16th, we started playing the Cup. I’t only 6 matches but we want to finish the season with the best results ever.
Just give all my support to J.Sala (he has his arm broken now) and A.Coll (who injured his foot) and hope they recover completely soon.

Yesterday I talked about the second part of Kill Bill. I was really happy to know that the second part of Kill Bill will be released in Europe sooner than the first part, but all my happiness broke down this afternoon when I realised that the premiere date has been postponed almost 3 weeks. The provisional date is now the July 23rd.
There is only one thing about this…. I wish it will be the last post about Kill Bill v2 untill my personal review.
Just bad news for today… I hope tomorrow will be better.
